The Warrior Group Unveiled
The third episode ended with a dramatic pause and introduced the premier party of characters who will split off from the central cast to embark on their own adventure, apart from the remaining groups.
This warrior group includes the determined fighter (portrayed by Travis), Thimble (the talented performer), the strong-willed figure (the cast member), Wicander (the player), and Kattigan Vale (the actor).
Dividing the Cast
Considering 13 cast members, it was obvious from the beginning that maintaining everyone at a single group would be unworkable.
That’s why, the initial installments of the new season serve as an Introduction, intertwining the individual narratives before branching into three smaller tables: Fighters, Strategists, and Seekers.
Characteristics of the Warrior Group
As described by Brennan Lee Mulligan, the combat-focused party is for adventurers who enjoy a classically intense fight-heavy narrative style where non-violent answers are scarce.
Initially, figures such as the reluctant priest the cleric might look out of place, but the developments of episode 3 make it clear why these specific adventurers are best suited for the warrior group.
Why They Must Go
First, the group knows exactly where to head next after a intense initial meeting with the antagonists.
Casimir of the deceased character—whose death kicked off the narrative’s action—manipulated the foes for his own means, invading the secret base, attacking the rogue, and stealing all the enchanted items to auction.
The traitor then paid off his obligations and ran away to a Halovar stronghouse in the remote area, above Dol-Makjar, with Teor’s brother close behind.
Individual Reasons
Moreover, each character has a individual motive to depart the urban setting:
- Thimble, as the companion and trusted friend, wants retribution.
- The knowledgeable figure is familiar with the northern area and advises that it is a hostile environment.
- The strong character and The healer, having resisted his family’s wishes to kill the fighter and instead freed him, have no other options.
- Yet, their status as key figures in the powerful family could help the party access places they typically wouldn’t be able to.
- Moreover, The grateful character pledged a eternal obligation to The savior for his rescue and will now go with him anywhere.
Pursued by Authorities
In addition, all of them are hunted by the rulers that control Dol-Makjar for a multiple motives, making remaining behind no longer safe:
- The rogue and The hero are known criminals.
- The warrior and Wicander defied the powerful family and the army of fiends they are aligned with.
- The target is targeted for elimination by the clan.
This leaves them little choice but to travel to Timmony in search of the traitor.
