I will overwhelm 'legitimate boxer' Jake Paul - Joshua
Anthony Joshua prepares to battle the American YouTuber in an eight-bout fight which will be streamed live on the streaming platform.
Briton Joshua stated he will "overwhelm entirely" the American and "break" his opponent as the combatants came face-to-face to promote next month's boxing match.
Former two time world title holder Anthony Joshua meets YouTuber-turned-boxer Jake Paul - in what is, theoretically, a massive uneven pairing - at Miami's venue on 19 December.
Boxer's Mentality
"I'm going to break his face and damage his physique. My goal is to show I'm superior," the British boxer, 35, declared.
"I will dominate him completely. That's how fighters think.
"I intend to seriously aim to injure him. That's what I want to do."
Respectful Exchange
Despite such comments, a relaxed Anthony Joshua and internet personality Jake Paul - typically known for his showmanship - were respectful and remained civil with each other.
Jake Paul rather targeted former Joshua's rival the Cameroonian fighter and described him as "a joke" after the Cameroonian rejected a fight offer.
Taking Aim at Fury
Joshua, at the same time, took aim at UK rival Fury - and rejected a million-pound wager 'Tyson Fury' states he will put on a Paul win.
"[Paul] is superior to Fury - he's present here," Joshua commented.
"I give him credit for that."
Legitimate Fighter
Despite declaring he will punish Paul, Joshua declined to talk badly about his opponent's fighting skills.
"Jake Paul is a legitimate boxer," he said.
Jake Paul's Background
Jake Paul - who initially became famous on the Disney Channel - has mainly fought MMA fighters or declining opponents since turning professional.
He lost to British fighter Tommy Fury in last year.
Financial Attraction
Nevertheless, the inexperienced fighter is still one of the sport's greatest financial successes, regularly earning huge earnings.
Forecast and Confidence
The 28 year old predicted a KO victory in round four or five and stated he would stop the long-awaited match between Joshua and Fury, which is allegedly being planned for two years from now.
"It's going to be my match with Fury next year," Jake Paul declared.
Size Disparity
As the two fighters engaged in the usual confrontation, with their size difference evident, it highlighted just how surprising this whole event is - and how amazing it is that the bout is really happening.
